Mountain West Chorale

The Mountain West Chorale, from Salt lake City, Utah, was founded in 1980 by alumni of Kearns High School Madrigals and their High School teacher Mr. Richard Pearce.

This choir has since expanded to include performers from throughout the Salt Lake Valley and along the Wasatch Front (Extended Greater Salt Lake Region). They have performed in St. Basils Cathedral in Los Angles, the Old Soldiers Fort in Seattle, the Tony-Award winning Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, multiple patriotic tours in Yellowstone, the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii, in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, and other Caribbean venues.

They perform regularly at the Assembly Hall in the Temple Square Concert Series in Salt Lake City and many corporate events throughout the state of Utah and on Christmas 1986 they were invited to sing at the White House.

The Mountain West Chorale performs a wide repertoire of music from classical, patriotic, and renaissance to religious, spiritual and contemporary. .
